LOCATION

Located on the southern shores of Poipu Beach, the Grand Hyatt Kauai is in a perfect place for a vacation. The resort is only a 25 minute drive from Lihue International Airpot (LIH). This side of the island is much quieter than the other main area of Princeville on the north for a quiet vacation. Additionally, this is closer to the Na Pali Coast which is arguably the best and biggest attraction for adventures and things to do on the island!

With lush tropical landscapes, huge pools, lagoons, and direct beach access, you will never need to leave the resort. However, if you are looking for adventures, check out the Kauai Travel Guide for everything you need to do and see when planning your next trip.

THE PROPERTY

The resort features one of the best pool areas with a 1.5 acre salt water lagoon, a 150 foot waterslide, tiers of pools surrounded by waterfalls and beautiful black lava rocks, and koi ponds. Additionally, there is a beautiful championship golf course, spa, and tons of dining options available on property. And last but not least, the property sits on beautiful Poipu Beach.

ROOMS & SUITES

The rooms and suites are beautiful and spacious. We stayed in a suite which had a beautiful ocean front balcony with an ocean view and a large bathroom with huge bathtub. The rooms have more traditional Hawaiian style aesthetic vs a luxury modern feel but they are still beautiful rooms. Plus, it is Hawaii so you are rarely in your room! But if you want to splurge for a luxurious suite, they have beautiful accommodations with large living rooms and views.

OVERALL IMPRESSION

The property is very big which means you may have to walk a lot depending on your room location but this is hardly a complaint when you’re staying in a true tropical paradise.
